The Holiday Season

The holiday season consists of three major holidays. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. So to kick off your holiday season, here are some helpful goals for each holiday.

1. Thanksgiving – Being thankful. Think about and thank God for the blessings in your life. Whether it be family, friends, possessions, and even your trials.

2. Christmas – Bless others. Yes Christmas is a time where we receive gifts, but it’s also a time to bless others. Share of yourself and what you have. Show the love of Christ to others.

3. New Year’s – Grow. Think back to how much you’ve grown as a person in the past year. Think about which areas you would love to grow in more. Don’t think of this as goals that must be completed, but as goals to strive for. Because being directionless will lead you down a path you don’t want to go and being too obsessed with your goals will make you stressed. Lean on God and trust Him to make you into what He wants.
