Praise Ye The Lord

Psalm 117 O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people. For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth forever. Praise ye the Lord.

John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Praise the Lord! But not just the Christians, everyone! This Psalm doesn’t say, praise God if you’re a Christian or praise God if you feel like it. This Psalm is declaring a reason for everyone in the world to praise Him. Everyone in the world has a reason to praise God. And if this Old Testament Psalm can tell the whole world to praise the Lord, how much more does the world have a reason to praise God now that He has given His Son to die for us? Those who are saved must praise God for their salvation. Those who are lost need to find God and praise Him for the gift that they can take. Praise ye the Lord!
